1. What exactly is Decora House?

Decora House is a Finnish gift shop focused on carefully selected gifts for everyday life and celebrations – especially for families and children. Our selection covers everything from small everyday keepsakes to larger anniversary gifts, and the products come from responsible European manufacturers.

2. How quickly are the products delivered?

Delivery time is 3–8 business days, and the products are shipped directly from European manufacturers. You will receive an order confirmation and tracking code in your email.

3. Can I pick up the order myself?

Unfortunately no – we are an online store only, so we deliver products by mail.

4. How can I pay?

We offer familiar and secure payment methods for orders placed both in Finland and abroad. All payments are processed by Paytrail Oyj in cooperation with banks and credit institutions, and Klarna payment solutions are also available.

  • Online banks: You can pay directly through all domestic banks – including Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Oma Säästöpankki, POP Bank, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken and S-Bank.
  • Invoice and installments: There are several flexible payment solutions available: Walley, Jousto and OP Lasku allow you to pay later or in installments. Klarna offers a 30-day interest-free payment period or installment payments.
  • Mobile payments: MobilePay, Siirto and Pivo are available, so paying is easy with your phone.
  • Card payments: We accept Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and American Express cards.
  • International options: From abroad, you can pay with common international credit cards (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and UnionPay) – the logos show which cards are accepted in the country of origin of your order.

All payments are made over an SSL-encrypted connection and we do not store any card details. This allows you to focus on choosing gifts and let the payment process run securely in the background.

5. Can I return the product if I change my mind?

Yes, you can. We offer a 14-day return policy.

The product must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging with all labels.

Please note that personalized items, underwear and socks are not eligible for returns, and some brands are not eligible for returns due to supplier terms and conditions.

To initiate a return, contact our customer service; provide your order number, the product you are returning, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with detailed instructions and a return label, if available.

Once the return is received, we will refund the payment to the original payment method within 3-7 business days.

6. Help! My order was delivered incorrectly / missing products. What do I do?

Contact our customer service immediately by emailing asiakaspalvelu@decorahouse and we will fix the issue as soon as possible.

7. Do you have a brick-and-mortar store?

No. We focus entirely on online shopping.

11. Are the products environmentally friendly?

We do our best to choose products that are as sustainable and/or recyclable as possible. We don't promise perfection, but we are constantly making better choices.

12. What does it mean that a product is a made-to-order product?

A made-to-order product means that it is not in stock, but is ordered or made specifically for you. The delivery time for these products is usually slightly longer – around 5–10 business days .

Since a custom product is made or ordered individually, it does not have a right to return unless there is a defect in the product or it does not correspond to what was ordered. So if the package reveals something different from what you ordered, or the product is defective, we will of course fix it immediately. 🎁

13. Where do your products come from?

All our products are manufactured in Europe and delivered directly from the European manufacturer.

14. Where can I find the country of origin of a product?

Always try to write the product's country of manufacture/origin and manufacturer information in the product information.
