Rustic romantic wedding setting at Haulitehdas – Inspiration and tips
Tampereen Haulitehdas is a beautifully renovated banquet hall that exudes an old-world atmosphere. Red brick walls, iron details and large fireplaces at both ends of the banquet hall create a warm and unique atmosphere – perfect for a rustic, romantic winter wedding.
In this blog post, we share ideas and tips on how to create a harmonious and impressive wedding table setting in such a wonderful setting. When choosing table decorations and decorations, we focused on emphasizing a rustic and romantic style.
Decorating principles: Simplicity and harmony
Since the space is already impressive in itself, the decoration was mainly focused on the tables and their setting. A white tablecloth serves as a fresh base for the setting, and we combined it with light pink lace doilies , which bring softness and contrast to the red brick walls.
The color of the dishes was kept consistent – white porcelain, clear glass, and silver-colored metal. This keeps the setting light and maintains harmony throughout the decoration of the party space.
Decorations: Candles and flowers create the atmosphere
The centerpiece of the decoration is candles and small flower arrangements, carefully placed on lace doilies. Here are a few tips to help you create a similar atmosphere:
- Candles: Candles glowing in glass jars add warmth and romance. Rustic candle jars are stunning on their own, but you can also arrange flowers around them.
- Flowers: Small bouquets of gray-green ivy and light flowers are perfect for a winter wedding. We chose mini milk bottles as vases, which complement the rustic romantic theme.
- Details: Decorative pearl ribbons were added to the tablecloth, adding airiness and sophistication to the whole. The pink pearls go particularly well with the lace tablecloths.
Placement and place cards
Place cards can be used to emphasize the wedding theme and create a unified look. In this setting, we used heart-shaped place cards , which were attached to the glasses with small pink clothespins. The minimalist solution adds a touch of glamour, but does not distract from the rest of the setting.
Finishing the whole: Practicality and beauty
The table setting was initially designed for four people, but in the final version the tables were designed for eight people, leaving enough space for both decoration and guests. Simple but elegant decorations, such as antique candles and decorative cut hearts , make the table attractive and festive.
In the party room, the decoration continues in a uniform manner on the guest tables, gift table and serving tables. Small additions, such as streamers and clusters of candles on the windowsills , can be used in different parts of the room to create a unified atmosphere.
Add candles to the windowsills
We also tried placing candle jars on the windowsills, and they fit perfectly into the atmosphere of the party space. If the space has several windows, it is worth setting aside plenty of candles and glass jars so that the light creates a beautiful, uniform effect throughout the party space.
Make your dream wedding table setting a reality
This inspiration serves as an example of how decorations and embellishments can emphasize the beauty of a party space and create a harmonious whole.
